Convention
Convention is the heart of the Intrigue experience — an inclusive, explorative environment where dancers are free to take risks, try new styles, and grow as artists. Over one weekend, dancers take 10 classes across Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Ballet, Tap, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, and Ballroom, with offerings tailored to each event. Every convention culminates in a live show where dancers perform alongside our creators, and select cities feature opportunities to dance in front of top talent agents. Over $50,000 in scholarships distributed per event.

Mini (6-9), Junior (10-12), Teen (13-15), Senior (16-21). Ages determined as of January 1 of the season year (2025-2026 season: Jan 1, 2026; 2026-2027 season: Jan 1, 2027). Each division receives 10 classes.
Studios must register dancers — independent students are not accepted. Payment required 30 days prior to event to avoid late fees.
Dancers must attend both class days to maintain scholarship eligibility. Switching divisions requires prior approval and forfeits scholarship eligibility.
Dancers going for scholarships must have an audition number to participate in class. Dancers not going for scholarships will be provided with a class band. Teachers and observers MUST have a wristband provided by Intrigue.
No photography or video recording during convention classes.
Convention fees are NON-REFUNDABLE with no exceptions.
FAQ
Comfortable dance attire appropriate for the class style. Bring multiple pairs of dance shoes (jazz, ballet, sneakers). Hair secured, no jewelry.
A limited number of observer passes ($90) are available per city and must be pre-purchased through your studio portal. They are not available on-site. Observers are not permitted in audition classes.
The Mini division accepts dancers ages 6-9 (as of January 1 of the season year — currently Jan 1, 2026).
Yes! 5-11 students: 1 instructor at 50% off. 12-24 students: 1 free instructor. 25-49 students: 2 free instructors + potential hotel reimbursement. 50+ students: 2 free instructors + hotel nights.
Yes — 25% off your 2nd city, 30% off your 3rd city.
